I’m not getting much on this question at Environment & Ecology - can someone help? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ar2oJfYtEywv7neNwZLnbobsy6IX?qid=20070430052618AALXPpF
b_rent — I understand that it is a theory. I am wondering what that proof/evidence is that supports the theory.
Lettie D - no - 2000 scientists are not proof. It is a logical fallacy to believe something based on “authority.” Those scientists must have come to their conclusions based on proof/evidence - what is it?
Cgy Loki — I understand that greenhouse gasses are said to have a greenhouse effect. However, greenhouse gases are emitted from the earth all the time, in tremendously HUGE quantities — volcanoes produce more CO2 and other greenhouse gases than man does, and CO2 is vented from the ocean floor in HUGE quantities. Has there been a comprehensive study of the different sources that has shown that man’s emissions are of greater impact than natural emissions?
bill - do you have a link?
