Actually, The God you worship and often defend for it loves animal sacrifice, so you obviously agree with it…..
Animal Sacrifice is all over your bible, god LOVES to see animals bleed and burn.
Read the book you worship so.Lauren

…maybe I could rephrase the question?

Here in the UK there’ll soon be more old than young people and I suspect that the situation is similar in most other developed countries - MORE METHANE !

AIDS and other serious diseases it would seem are having a pretty effective stab at curtailing population explosions in undeveloped ones but in china the indigenous population is still only allowed one child per family (God help you if your gender is female) aren’t they ? However, now, some chinese cities are in an almost permanent state of SMOG and the nation is set to be the next Superpower - which will probably mean alot more babies - MORE METHANE STILL?
Now I hear that the huge Russian Arctic Tundra plains are in danger of melting - GINORMOUS AMOUNTS OF METHANE !!!

My question is this - shouldn’t we stop flogging a dead horse so to speak - and help Mr.Branson with his commerical spaceship development and be doing heaps of research on terra-forming and working out how best to colonise the those under planets in the Solar System?

This isn’t a CFC situation - like with the Ozone hole which I believe is almost gone now - this is something we can’t put right isn’t it - because like all of nature animal and vegetation - we have no choice - we have to BURP AND BREAK WIND ???????

Eugene

“The recognition that the form and function of plants within a region reflected the constraints imposed by the physical environment led the way for a new generation of scientists that explored the relationship between plant biology and plant geography.”

Kai asked:

I cannot understand this passage in my school book. Could someone more knowledgeable perhaps put this into laymans terms for me or simply describe what you consider this to mean?. I would be so grateful! Thank You. The passage I am caught up on reads:

“The scientific image of hunting and gathering, as a naturally prescribed course of fitness-maximisation, is as illusory as the image that science has of its own enterprise, as a monument to the freedom and pre-eminence of human reason. Far from confronting one another across the boundary of nature, both the people who call themselves scientists and the people whom scientists call hunter-gatherers are fellow passengers in this world of ours, who carry on the business of life and, in so doing, develop their capacities and aspirations, within a continuing history of involvement with both human and non-human components of their environments. If we are to develop a thoroughgoing ecological understanding of how real people relate to these environments, and of the sensitivity and skill with which they do so, it is imperative to take this condition of involvement as our point of departure. “

Delores
