How much Green are you?

Kate J asked:

Does ecology bother you at all? Do you think that an individual is able to do anything to protect our planet/environment?

An individual can do a lot to protect the environment. In fact all efforts become sustainable if and only if they start from the individual. It is the indifference of the individual that spoils the ecology.I must keep my home clean;I must not throw the rubbish on the road or in the neighbour’s compound; I must plant trees where ever possible .Smoking is bad and spoils the environment. There is so much each person can do.

I do my best to help out. It may not be much, but if everybody pitches in a little bit, good things could happen.

Listen to Al Gore. He disconnected the power to his home. We ought to do the same!
