   most definitely… i have the perfect book for you to read and gain your knowledge/experience/research from for this topic… it is called…. (drumroll please) Ecology of Commerce by Paul Hawken. 250 pages.
   I would suggest sustainability and how a particular industry may be harming an ecosystem with its production/waste etc. as your topic

   sustainability, basically, is a good place to start with ecology and environmental issues and how mans involvement alters these things.
