4. A species distribution is limited by resources and to a degree, inter and intra specific competition for those resources. water is the limiting factor in a desert.
5. Plankton are baby aquatic organisms. Zooplankton (animals) Pytoplankton (plants). Not all aquatic organisms have a planktonic stage though.</description>
